Virginia S. Vail of Carrollton, AL passed away Tuesday January 7, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital -Golden Triangle at the age of 70. She was born on December 11, 1943 to the late Amiree Reese and Jessie Sims. Funeral services will be held Friday January 10, 2014 at 2 PM at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. David Coleman and Rev. Keith Crowley, Rev. Jammie Turner, and Rev. Stuart Vail officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 2 PM at the church. Pallbearers will be David Estes, Gerry Lee, Jerrill Bontranger, Lavern Bontrager, Bennie Coleman, Galen Mast. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. John Whitecar, Dr. Robert Jones, Dr. Robert Buckley, Dr. Robert Howland. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Dale Vail of Carrollton, AL; son, Stuart Nelson Vail (Kerry) of Carrollton, AL; brothers, William Levi Sims (Carol) of Montpelier, Roy Lynn Sims (Doris) of Columbus, Jackie Ronald Sims of Philadelphia, MS; 4 grandchildren, Foster Reed Vail, Brent Aaron Vail, Madison Faith Vail, Sarah Nicole Vail. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Jessie Kate Sims Davidson. Memorials may be made to Murrah's Chapel Baptist Church 10703 Hwy 69 S, Columbus, MS 39701.
