Thomas 'Pat' Bishop

Thomas ‘Pat’ Bishop passed away Thursday May 4, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital the age of 72. He was born May 26, 1944 in Georgia to the late Thelma Wells and Cooper Thomas Bishop. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He served as a police officer for the West Point Police Department for several years, and then drove a truck for Bryan Foods before retirement.

A Memorial service will be Sunday May 7, 2017 at 2 PM at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Steve Blaylock officiating.

He is survived by his sons, John Bishop (Nancy) of Smithville, Michael Bishop (Laura) of West Point; daughter, Natalie Burns (Wesley) of Columbus; nephew, Brian Bishop of Georgia; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elizabeth Judson Bishop; brother, Jere Wells Bishop.

Memorials may be made to charity of donors choice.
