Tammy Lynn Blansett passed away Sunday January 6, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center at the age of 45. She was born September 11, 1973 in West Point to Leona Mae McMullen and the late Homer Wilson Blansett, Sr. Her main job in life was being a wonderful and loving mother to her 3 kids and grandkids. Tammy fought a long battle with cancer but was well loved by many and never met a stranger.
Funeral service will be 3 PM Thursday January 10, 2019 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Ben Yarber officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Lawrence Dickert, Bobby Logan, Sammie Lowe, Nickolaus Hodges, Shane Starlin and Josh Norton. Honorary pallbearers will be the nursing staff at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home.
She is survived by her son, Nickolaus Scott Hodges of Amory; daughters, Sierra Lynne Logan (Bobby), Savannah Leigh Dickert both of West Point; husband, Lawrence Seery Dickert of West Point; mother, Leona Blansett of Amory; brother, Homer Wilson Blansett, Jr of Amory; special friend, Sammie Lowe of Mobile; 3 grandchildren, Travion Eggerson, Cameron Eggerson, Mason Elijah Logan.
She was preceded in death by her father; her grandmother, Leona Canon Blansett; and her grandfather, Earnest Wilson.
