Roger Hines

Roger William Hines passed away Wednesday May 15, 2024 at his residence at the age of 77. He was born January 1, 1947 in St. Petersburg, FL to the late Paul Richard Hines and Virginia Gail Baker Hines. He worked as a service technician for Comcast for several years before his retirement. He was a US Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

He is survived by his wife, Darcelle Hines of West Point; daughter, Karen Guzman (Eddie) of FL; son Paul Hines (Donna) of FL; sister, Pam Devine of VA; 3 grandchildren, Celia Guzman, Ivan Hines, Ethan Hines.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Paula Adams.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM Thursday May 23, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Brandon Bates officiating. Visitation will be 10:30-11 Thursday at the church.
