Ray Millard, III

Raymond “Ray” Godfrey Millard, III passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the age of 71. He was born December 16, 1947 in West Point to the late Bird C. Calvert and Raymond G. Millard, Jr. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and President of the Co-Op and President of Local Farm Bureau for many years.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday February 15, 2019 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Darian Duckworth and Rev. James Towery officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Clem Guines, Joey Michel, Jimmy Donahoo, Randy Simmons, Bucky Kellogg, Ethan Donahoo, Jordan Caskey, John Raymond Pitre, Lockett Tally and Miller Keys. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Men’s Sunday School Class. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Friday at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Millard of West Point; son, Tucker Millard (Morgan) of Franklin, TN; daughter, Mary Caradine Hamrick (Greg) of Nashville, TN; sister, Nancy Pitre (Larry) of Little Rock, AR; 2 grandchildren, Adeline and Mary Lockett.
