Peggy White

Peggy Ann White passed away Sunday May 1, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle at the age of 82. She was born June 16, 1939 to the late John Albert Langford and Neoma Ola Edwards Langford. She was a beautician for many years, owning her own beauty shop in Pheba.  

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday May 4, 2022 at Pheba Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating. Visitation will be 1-2 PM on Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Barton, Jim Montgomery, Danny White, Mike Langford, Bryant Langford, Bruce Edwards, D R Jacobs, Jonathan Avent. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Salmon and Joe Salmon.

She is survived by her son, Bubba White of Pheba; daughter, Theresa Coleman of AL; brother, Harvey Langford of Columbus; longtime special partner, Jim Henry; 5 grandchildren, Chasity Otts, Philip Clay Barton, Amber Avent, Alana Jacobs, Daniel White; 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Harold White; 2 brothers, Wayne Langford, John Lewis Langford; granddaughter, Lacie Erin Barton.
