Mrs. Patricia Hagan Craig, age 74 of Franklin, TN passed away January 19, 2016. Patricia was born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky where she graduated from Tompkinsville High School in 1959. She went on to David Lipscomb College in Nashville, Tennessee where she earned an Elementary Education Degree and graduated in 1963. While at Lipscomb, she met J.C. Craig where they were married in 1963 and she became a teacher in Metro Nashville. After settling in Nashville, J.C. and Pat had 2 boys, John (1967) and Philip (1970). They later lived in Columbus, Ohio; Oxford, MS and Bowling Green, KY. While in Bowling Green, KY, Pat went back to school at Western Kentucky University and earned her 2 nd degree in Accounting. Later they moved to White House, TN and in 1982 moved to West Point, MS. In West Point, Pat and JC became very active in local service and volunteering. They also served as leaders at Old Aberdeen Rd Church of Christ. Pat worked for Clay County and the City of West Point as Bookkeeper/Asst. City Manager where she retired in 2005. After retirement, Pat and JC moved back to Tennessee to the town of Franklin to be closer to their children and grandchildren, Annie and John Conner. They attended 4 th Ave Church of Christ, enjoyed playing and listening to Bluegrass music with several friends in the Nashville area and attending school/sports events of their grandchildren. In addition to her comforting smile, Pat will always be remembered for her love of music, sweets and her immediate/church family. Preceded in death by parents, C.S. “Pat” Hagan & Doris Harlan Hagan. Survived by her husband of 52 years, J.C. Craig; sons, John (Amanda) Craig and Philip (DeAnna Boldt) Craig; brothers, Sam (Bette) Hagan and John (Donna) Hagan; grandchildren, Annie and John Conner Craig. A memorial service will be held 10:00am Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at Old Aberdeen Church of Christ with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Robinson Funeral Home is assisting with local arrangements.
