Nancy McBrayer

Nancy Shepard McBrayer passed away October 20, 2022 at her residence at the age of 83. She was born September 18, 1939 to the late Russell Riley and Gladys Pearl Burrage Shepard. She was raised and grew up in Kemper county. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 50 years and worked as an Assistant Director in childcare for many years.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM Sunday October 23, 2022 at Robinson Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating. Visitation will be 1-3 PM Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper county. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel McBrayer, Brody McBrayer, Macon McBrayer, Will McBrayer, Ryley Pierce, Jimmy Busby.

She is survived by 3 sons, Steve McBrayer (Patty), Chris McBrayer (Gay), Keith McBrayer (Nicole) all of West Point; 3 sisters, Barbara Wilkins (Jimmy), Brenda Morgan (Sam), Lynn Lott (Reggie); 5 grandchildren, Daniel McBrayer, Meg Pierce (Riley), Macon McBrayer, Laura McBrayer, Will McBrayer; 2 great-great grandchildren, Brody McBrayer, Poppy Pierce; special friend, Rina Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 59 years, Richard McBrayer.
