Mike Walker

Thomas Michael Walker, known as Mike, passed away Saturday June 4, 2022 at Waverly Care Home at the age of 70. He was born September 29, 1951 to the late Thomas Calvin Walker and Anne Moore Walker. He graduated from West Point High School in 1971. He worked at Bryan Foods for 29 years as a truck driver. Mike enjoyed MSU sports, fishing and hunting.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Monday June 6, 2022 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Jason Middleton officiating. Visitation will be 1-2 PM Monday at Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bernie White, Brent Walker, Bruce Johnson, Curtis Middleton, Steve Walker, R. B. Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Johnson, Billy Milican, Larry Barton, Stanley Scott, Adron May, Neal Coker, Jimmy Miller, Durwood Ware, Robin Foster and staff of Waverly Care Home, Dr. Ned Miller, and Eddie Strickland.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Walker (Amanda) of New York; daughter, Caitlyn Walker of New York; brother, Donnie Walker (Millie) of West Point; sister, Gayle Kennedy of West Point; 4 grandchildren, Emma Walker, Thomas Walker, Cyrus Walker, John Walker.
