Laura Elizabeth LaRose

Laura Elizabeth LaRose passed away Monday October 15, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgland at the age of 95. She was born August 23, 1923 to the late Irma Valentine and Wilbur Rainey Watkins. She was a member of Brandon Baptist Church.                             

Funeral service will be 12 PM Wednesday October 17, 2018 at Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon with Dr. Clarence Cooper II and Rev. Gayden Harrell officiating. Visitation will be 10:30 till service time Wednesday at the church. A graveside service will be Wednesday 4 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.

She is survived by her husband, James Joseph LaRose of Brandon; 2 sons, Gary Watkins LaRose (Mynon) of Brandon, James Robert LaRose (Pat) of Charlette, NC; 3 grandchildren, Gary Watkins LaRose, JR, James Brian LaRose, Julie Ranon Hopson; 3 great grandchildren, Chloe Love LaRose, Lawson Carter LaRose, Addison Grace LaRose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Virginia Fields Watkins, Mary Wilbur Watkins Riley, Kathryn Watkins Mooney.
