John McManus

John Calvin McManus, Jr passed away Saturday September 27, 2025 at his residence at the age of 80. He was born July 17, 1945 in Oktibbeha County to the late John Calvin McManus and Ida Frances Malone McManus. John was a hard worker. He and his wife painted many houses together over the years.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva McManus of West Point; sons, John McManus and Thomas ‘T’ McManus; daughter, Corinna Hollingsworth (Mike); 1 grandchild, Robbie ‘Dwayne’ White (Jessica); 1 great grandchild, Harper White; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy Dale McManus, Jessie James McManus, Jerry Lynn McManus, William Thomas McManus; sister, Ida Frances Pruett.

A celebration of life with family and friends will held at 1 PM Saturday October 11, 2025 at the family residence 709 Pate Rd West Point, MS 39773.
