Jane Golson

Emma Jane Golson passed away September 25, 2021 at her residence at the age of 84. She was born November 11, 1936 in Abbott, MS to the late May Bell Gregg Coggins and Clarence Coggins. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church and the owner and cook at Anthony’s for several years. She is survived by her sons, Danny Golson, Larry Golson (Debbie), Joey Golson, Tim Golson (Carolyn), all of West Point; daughter, Beth Laird (Mark) of West Point; brother, Charles Coggins of Amory; sister, Peggy Whitaker of TN; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pat Golson; 5 Brothers; 4 Sisters. Funeral services will be 12 PM Monday September 27, 2021 at Hope Baptist Church with Brother Charles Cogging officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Clay Watson, Corey Watson, Trevor Watson, Wesley Golson, Joseph Golson, Nick Golson. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ned Miller and all her many friends. Visitation will be 10 AM-12 PM Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery c/o Anna Ruth Sims703 Henryville Rd Cedar Bluff, MS 39741.
