James Ray Golson

James Ray Golson passed away February 3, 2018 at NMMC-Tupelo at the age of 64. He was born January 13, 1954 to the late Dellawees Coggins and Joe Golson, Jr. He worked in construction and was a heavy equipment operator for many years.

A graveside service will be 2 PM Monday at Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery with Rev. Charles Coggins officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve White, Steven White, Jimmy McKee, George Simmons, Gregg Ott and Jake Hill.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Golson of Duram, NC, Evan Golson of Mathiston; daughters, Leigh Atkins of Columbus, Hannah Golson of Mathiston; Brothers, Gary Golson of West Point, Jay Golson of Mountain Home, AR; sister, Kay White of West Point.
