James Burleson

James ‘Pete’ Burleson passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford at the age of 68. He was born April 29, 1947 in Courtland, MS to the late Mamie Hutchinson and James Burleson. He was in the construction business for many years. He is survived by his nieces, Karen Tharp of Houston, Teresa Taylor of Florence, MS; great-nephews, Charles Taylor (Anna) of Jackson, Allen Tharp of Okolona; great-nieces, Montana Tharp of Huntsville, Al, Hanna Taylor of Florence; sister-in-law, Ann Nabors of Houston. Upon the request of the family there will be no services.
