Hubert Swords

Frank Swords of West Point died on Saturday July 2, 2011 at Dugan Memorial Home at the age of 58. He was born January 17, 1953 in Union County to Alice Nix and Luther Clark Swords. He was an artist and a member of the Columbus Arts Council and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. James Towery officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Pontotoc County. Pallbearers will be J R Swindol, Jaimy Towery, Carl Shirley, Josh Coleman, Danny Ivey, Gene Merkle. He is survived by his parents, Luther and Cotton Swords of West Point; sons, Trey Swords of West Point, and J.T. Swords of Carriere, MS; sister, Sandra Donour (Garry) of West Point; aunts and uncles, Burt Nix, Peggy Jumper, Kathy Breland, Willowdean Swords Montanez, Lila Swords Hiten, Serene Swords Thweatte, Roy Swords; Great aunt, Lannie Robbins.
