Evelyn Goodwin

Evelyn Beaird Goodwin passed away Monday October 22, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 2, 1934 in Oklahoma to the late Evie Oma Sampson and Martin Beaird. She was in the restaurant business for many years.                              

Funeral service will be 4 PM Thursday October 25, 2018 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Wayne Mathis and Rev. Harold Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Phillips, Ryan Phillips, Gary Phillips, Seth Todd, Josh Guest, Wes Silver. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Buddy Tate. Visitation will Thursday 3-4 PM at Robinson Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Virgil Goodwin of West Point; 5 daughters, Diedra ‘Dee’ Mathis of West Point, Mary Phillips of Cedar Bluff, Glenda Helton of West Point, Laura Todd of West Point, Sharon Ball of West Point; sister, Alice Griffie of West Point; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
