Delma Carson

Delma S. Carson, 90, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Tallahassee, FL. She was the loving mother of Lealand L. McCharen (Kathy), Tallahassee; Silas W. McCharen (Leesa), Jackson, MS; James B. McCharen (Jeanie), St. Petersburg, FL; Robert L. Carson (Lindy), Columbus, MS; and John McCharen. Delma was born in Fort Smith, AR on March 16, 1927. She married Littleton Lane McCharen in 1945 and moved to Mississippi. After Lane's death in 1960, she married Saunders Carson, Sr. She moved to Tallahassee in 2000. Delma was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Pearl Scoles, her brother Carl Scoles and her husbands, Littleton Lane McCharen and Saunders Carson. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale on Hermitage for the loving care given to Delma in the last year and a half.

A memorial service will be 2 PM Saturday March 17, 2018 at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ann Russell Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
