Christine Clay

Christine Clay passed away Tuesday July 12, 2016 at NMMC-West Point at the age of 94. She was born April 16, 1922 in Clay County to the late Dora and John Andrews. Funeral Service will be Thursday July 14, 2016 at 3 PM at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Alan Garbutt officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Sammy Pearson, Paul Keller, Milton Hartley, Milt Penenger, Darryl Seawright, Bruce Seawright. Visitation will be Thursday 1-3 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. She is survived by her son Forest Eugene “Gene” Clay (Barbara) of West Point; Step-sons, Forrest M. Clay, Jr. (Jeanette) of Eupora, Bill Clay (Barbara) of Flint, MI; daughter, Sandra Stack (Charles) of Cedar Bluff; 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Forrest M. Clay; sisters, Inez Tipton, Opal Nobles, Estelle Brown; brothers, William Andrews, and Rex Andrews.
