Charles McLemore, Jr.

Charles McLemore passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at NMMC-Tupelo at the age of 86. He was born March 25, 1929 in West Point to the late Charles & Josie Harrington McLemore. He was a retired Sgt Major USMC with 30 years of service. He served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at 2 PM Saturday November 21, 2015 at Robinson Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating. Visitation will be 1-2 PM Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 2 PM at Beaufort National Cemetery in South Carolina with full Military Honors. He is survived by his wife Tina McLemore of West Point; son, Charles A. McLemore (Isabelle) of McPhersonville, SC; daughters, Linda McLemore Cummings (Buddy) of Walterboro, SC, Joannie McLemore of McPhersonville, SC, Susan Beauchene of San Jacinto, CA, Joyce Smith of Albany, GA; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
