Charles W Hill

Charles W. Hill passed away Thursday May 7, 2020 at his residence at the age of 87. He was born January 27, 1933 near Woodland, MS to the late Amanda Stevens and Arthur Hill. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War, Vietnam War and Dessert shield/Desert Storm. He was a member of the 223 Battalion of the Army National Guard. He served his country 31 ½ years in the military. He was a barber for many years, a Shriner, and a member of the American Legion, and DAV. Due to health concerns the family will have a private graveside service with Military Honors at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. He is survived by his sons, Michael C. Hill (Frances) of West Point, Mark A. Hill (Michelle) of FL; daughter, Alicia Falls (Richard) of Canton; brothers, Harrell ‘Red” Hill of Rockaway Beach, MO, Douglas Hill of Columbus; special friend, Alice Coburn whom he loved and cherished very much; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marnie McLemore Hill; 3 sisters; 1 brother.
