Anthony Wayne Barnhill passed away Saturday December 7, 2019 at the age of 25. He was born December 24, 1993 in Greenville, MS to Mary Tompkins Wright and the late Dwayne Terry. He worked for the city of West Point before moving and started working for Ashley Furniture Company. He was a good family man, husband and father.
Funeral services will 11 AM Friday December 13, 2019 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Daran Palmertree officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Colin Watkins, James Counts, Bo Seay, Joseph Tompkins, Jacob Laster, and Jason Barnhill. Honorary Pallbearers will be City of West Point Public Works Employees. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 12, 2019 at Robinson Chapel from 2 PM until 4 PM.
He is survived by his wife Taylor Barnhill; son Kenneth Wayne Terry Barnhill, both of Tupelo; parents Mary and Joey Wright of Cedar Bluff; brother Terry Barnhill of Cedar Bluff; sisters Lindsay Betts of Mathiston, Kacey Terry of Harrison, AR, Hope Barnhill of Cedar Bluff; grandmothers Paulette Terry of Hollandale, Margie Holland of Kilmichael; grandfather, Robert Tompkins of Morton; father-in-law, Larry Cates of Hatley; brother-in-law, Joseph Cates of Tupelo; several aunts and uncles and extended family.
