Annie Chandler

Annie Jean Chandler passed away Saturday August 1, 2026 surrounded by family. She was born August 17, 1952 to the late Gene and Mattie Lorena Allen Strickland. Annie was a loving woman, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She enjoyed bowling, arts & crafts, and baking. She worked as a waitress and a bartender for many years, but her best job was taking care of her family. She was a woman of very many hobbies and talents. She was a mother and great friend to many, not just her children.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Boyd Chandler; son, Kenny Chandler (Magean), daughters, Amanda Chandler, Lorena Huffman (William); brother, Danny Strickland; sisters, Anita Wilbourn, Patricia West; 7 grandchildren, Will Huffman (Hallie), Allysa Huffman, Nick Huffman (Alivia), Devin Chandler (Bijion) Jalen Poss, Chandler Quick (Ajah), Maddie Chandler; 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, Kenny and Adale Froshour; brother, Elvis Strickland; sisters, Dale Nanna, and Leona Cook.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Friday August 7, 2026 at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Allen and Rev. Timmy Williams officiating. A visitation with family and friends will be 1-2 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home.
