Anna Johnson

Anna Cecille Johnson was born on June 16, 2006 and passed away on July 1, 2026 at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She left this world with both of her parents by her side. Anna was known for her bright, loving and giving spirit. To know her was to love her. She learned to cope with the loss of her only sibling, her sister Ava, by focusing on her love of art, music, and exercise. She loved the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. She understood how beautiful and precious the gift of life can be. At the young age of 20, she now joins her sister in heaven.

Anna is survived by her father, Steven Johnson, her mother, Annie Johnson, and her grandparents, Alan Johnson, Karl Novak, and Bonnie Novak. She is also survived by her extended family, and a numerous amount of her loving friends and caring schoolmates.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Patti Johnson, her Aunt Danah Harpole, and her sister, Ava Johnson.

Services in honor of Anna will be held at 2 PM at East End Baptist Church, 380 MS-50, Columbus, MS 39705 on Monday July 6th, 2026. Visitation will begin at 1PM at the church. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers for Anna are as follows: Her beloved boyfriend, Lane Doggett, her loving friend, Hayes Henson, her wonderful cousins, Steven and Bryan Honnoll, and our beloved friends, Corey Warnick and Justin Klutts. Honorary Pallbearers are as follows: Her Uncle Jason Novak, Matt Huffman, Joseph Huffman Knight, Dr. Ned Miller, her cousins, Will and Jake Harpole, and her loving friend, Collins Price.
